Mike McD~ I thought I had given you great advice on the diet already… I guess I have failed you, Mikey…. Here was my secret Mike; I was tired of looking at myself in the mirror saying, “Who is that?” I was tired of trying on the clothes in the morning that ended up on the floor in a rage; I wanted to achieve my goal and be an example…… shall I go on? In the end, you have to WANT it…. Are you happy with the way you look Mike? Is it good for you? Are you proud when you look in the mirror? If you answered yes, then keep eatin’, Chubs….. If not, Mike then you need to just make the call and do it… what in the H-E double doggone nut crackers???? You could have already been on the diet three days!!!! Let’s get it goin’…..:)

Ken~ Do I believe in Conspiracy Theories? I guess it possible~ But, I really don’t try and think about it to much. I try and think of things I can do something about. And when people tell me their theories of Big Brother, I usually say, “So, what are going to do about it?” The answer is usually, “I don’t know,”… and I usually say, “Well, that story was a waste of time.”

Carmen~ To answer your question about Kevin and me asking for money being the reason that the show ended is not true. We ALL asked for more money and received it. The network didn’t want to do the show anymore because they wanted “new blood.” But, thanks for asking me that great question on my blog. Boy, I am so glad that it wasn’t the case, because you would have just made me uncomfortable by putting Kevin and me on blast. Have a beautiful day.

Steph~ Ok< can you teach people at Starbucks what DRY means? I used to be a waitress and our boss was from NYC and was CRAZY about cappuccinos and the like. A Cap is a shot (or two in my case) of espresso a little BIT of milk and mostly foam. A latte is a shot of espresso and then LOTS of milk and a little bit of foam. My boss even drew us pictures! We needed it because we were a little dense.

Hammes~ I think people who put up digitally altered pictures of anyone have issues and need to fill their time with more productive things in life. What do you think of people who do that? Just curious.

Alicia~ All of my jobs as a teenager were brutal, but you know, baby? I just looked at it like, “well, if I want those shoes or if I want to go out, I have to do this.” You have to just look at it as a job and that’s it. And you know what, little mamma? How about you look at these people who are rude and smile and say, “Have a good day”…. I have learned that killing people with kindness hurts them more. Unless, they are hurting someone else or you do you need to get up in their face. You can teach these people something.

Stef~ How did your niece pass? I don’t know this story. Maybe I can help and get you guys headed in the right direction.

General Posting~ For all my German Friends…. I have been asked many times if I have been there. I have never been there and hope to one day visit. However, she is blessed to have you and your daughter and it sounds like so are you guys to have her….

Anna~ I went to your web site yestoprivacy.org and I think it is a great idea. Here is the problem. You have to get the word out that it is not so much the paparazzi that are the problem; it is people like me who buy these magazines for entertainment. I am guilty.   If the magazines didn’t pay these guys huge $’s, they wouldn’t do it. The magazines pay big money because WE buy them! If we are to take a stand it is by all of us not buying these magazines and forcing these big companies to fill their magazines with photos that the stars pose for. Not for stalking photos. They are indeed stalking and putting not ONLY celebrities and their families in danger, but anyone who happens to be in the area. I have been in these “chases” and they are scary… very. If you have not been through it, then you don’t know how this feels. I used to be that girl who said, “Oh, boo-hoo, big stars getting their pictures taken,” until it happened to me with my daughter in the car. It is not funny. It is dangerous. I urge you to be the one person who does not post hate mail on your site about Celebrities. There are a few nasty comments on there about celebrities…. no one knows what it is like to be one of these people. To say, “Oh, she took money for a posed picture and now he or she deserves to be stalked,” is not only judgmental but it is based in hatred. I am not a fan of that. Here’s the point: if a celeb has a baby, the stalkers WILL DO ANYTHING to get that picture including putting people in danger. They will get their shot AND get paid for it. So why shouldn’t the celeb be proactive and for the sake of potentially saving your child from a dangerous situation, and getting a controlled shot of you and your baby.  The fact is the magazine will make a GAZILLION dollars off it. Why shouldn’t the celeb be paid for that? Shouldn’t that go in a trust fund for the child? Shouldn’t that money go to charity instead of the magazine? Of course they, too make money, but at least, the “Target” made something. And why shouldn’t they? I personally made nothing for my pictures. But I wouldn’t have minded!

I applaud you and hope you can make some real change.

Stefanie~ I never really wanted to sing as a career, it didn’t help that I was not blessed with a singing voice either, but I knew I wanted to entertain…. If I could sing, I would! I would sing all day if I could! You have to follow your dreams and overcome your fears. I always believed in myself as an actress. Even when people told me I couldn’t. I had a very supportive group around me and I just went for it. No matter what, you have to believe in yourself.

Angel~ Yes, I am starting to know you all…. And that’s very cute that your daughter wants me to visit:)

Of course we will negotiate. well, I had a similar experience when I bought Angelo clubs for his birthday… I walked in and said “ Hey, I want clubs for my hubby and he said “ what are we looking at”? and then from that point on all I heard was Charlie browns mom on the phone…. The salesman said …. “ wha, wha wha… wha wha and the wha wha and his range and his height and wha wha”…. For which I said “ right” and he said “ No, that’s a question”…. Then I said “ let me come back with someone who knows what the H-E Double toothpick you are talking about”…That’s funny Mike, what I just said… I better hear that you almost peed in your pants when you write me back…. Anyway, your daughter sounds like a beautiful, free spirited person… good work to you and your wife… and the Tandem thing… Angelo did that! He loved it!

Lovely~ I like the roles that I am given. Not that I don’t want to play other roles, but it’s just the cards I have been dealt and I am lucky and blessed to have worked in this business this long. So, I do the roles I do because I enjoy entertaining. I loved working with Halle. She was very sweet and talented. And to answer your other question, I think we have stayed together for so long because we work at it. Relationships go through tough times and it comes down to this: are you willing to work at it? forgive? Be honest with each other? And we can answer yes to all of those questions.

This weekend Angelo took me as an added surprise to Las Vegas to see Kevin perform at The Mirage.  Can you believe that I have never seen his stand up? Anyway, we drove. We had a great time.

Kevin was great and so was Ray (Romano). For some reason Kevin calls me on stage – they lifted me up onto the stage because there were no stairs and my shirt came undone as I was going up! Thank goodness I caught it! So there I am standing on stage thinking “Why am I up here?” and Kev says to the audience… “Anyone have a question for Leah”…. This is what I hear: “Chirp… chirp… chirp…” it actually made me laugh!!!! Anyway…..

On the way back however, we encountered traffic – horrendous! We sat in the car for 7 HOURS!!!!! There was an overturned truck off the Fwy and it was BRUTAL! And worse, it was at that stretch of Hwy where there was NOTHING forever! We were starving, had to pee and we sat for two hours before we got to an exit. Finally we got off and tried to get in to a Jack in the Box –there was a line out the door. It got to a point where I was getting desperate…. Anyway, we finally got to a McDonalds… After we did our bit’ness, we sat in the parking lot and had one of those new burgers eating like we had never eaten a meal, we were really a site to see! Another romantic trip for Angelo and me!
