This weekend Angelo took me as an added surprise to Las Vegas to see Kevin perform at The Mirage.  Can you believe that I have never seen his stand up? Anyway, we drove. We had a great time.

Kevin was great and so was Ray (Romano). For some reason Kevin calls me on stage – they lifted me up onto the stage because there were no stairs and my shirt came undone as I was going up! Thank goodness I caught it! So there I am standing on stage thinking “Why am I up here?” and Kev says to the audience… “Anyone have a question for Leah”…. This is what I hear: “Chirp… chirp… chirp…” it actually made me laugh!!!! Anyway…..

On the way back however, we encountered traffic – horrendous! We sat in the car for 7 HOURS!!!!! There was an overturned truck off the Fwy and it was BRUTAL! And worse, it was at that stretch of Hwy where there was NOTHING forever! We were starving, had to pee and we sat for two hours before we got to an exit. Finally we got off and tried to get in to a Jack in the Box –there was a line out the door. It got to a point where I was getting desperate…. Anyway, we finally got to a McDonalds… After we did our bit’ness, we sat in the parking lot and had one of those new burgers eating like we had never eaten a meal, we were really a site to see! Another romantic trip for Angelo and me!

Hey guys, sorry I haven’t written. What a crazy month…. I need a job, I need a vacation!!! First it was Angelo’s BIG birthday, for those of you who don’t know Angelo is soooooo much older than me! But anyway it was a big one and I had to make it a big deal. I had like a whole birthday week for him. I took him away to pamper him for a few days… I won’t bore you with the details, but I will tell you this; you know when you see that romantic stuff in movies or you read an article on how to do sexy and sweet things for your significant other and try it and it never turns out how you planned? That is me! For example, I attempted to have a sweet romantic bath with flower pedals all over the bathroom and tub and what happens? I almost slip on the friggin petals, then the bath was filled so much that when Ang tried to get in it, it overflowed not to mention the bath was too small and we were cramped.  Then it was too hot and we were sweating… so maybe two minutes after we got in it, we got out! We just laughed most of the time….. I am just not made for this kind of thing. THEN I chartered a boat to take us on a romantic little boat ride…. I got in the boat… wait let me use the right nomenclature… boarded the yacht, went out for five minutes before I got sick, and then one of the employees on the boat was taking pictures of me and Ang while we were trying to have a moment.. The whole thing was just weird… OK… THEN came Sofia’s birthday party which we did on Saturday because some family won’t be here for her actual birthday and we didn’t want them to miss it. She had a great time, it was Candy Land themed, and I think she is still in sugar shock as well as everyone else. We had a great time. I am still waiting for pictures and maybe I’ll post a few…. Now, it’s that time to figure out my sisters’ wedding!!! Lot’s going on - CALGON take me away!!! That’s a 70’s-80’s reference… some of you youngin’s might not get that….

Ok~ No job news yet… I know! It’s annoying…. How do you think I feel?
