Hey,

I want to thank Express Image out of Saint Paul MN (phone # in case any one else needs a banner 651.482.8602) for making a spectacular banner for our troops! It is beautiful and we appreciate your generosity and swiftness in making this happen!

As soon as it is filled up with notes we will take a photo and post it on the blog and then off to the troops it goes! The Soldiers are gonna love it!

Love,

Leah

Warning….
icon1 Leah | icon2 General | icon4 07 29th, 2008| icon3Comments Off

Hey Guys,

I realized I never actually gave you guys a warning on my blog. I am a tough pill to swallow. I am! Don’t tell Angelo that I admitted this because I will just say that someone else wrote it… But, I am. So please be aware if you write something that is obnoxious or rude or just plain annoying, I might have to say something to you. So beware. A lot of you I truly enjoy and I think you know who are you. Please remember though that I am a person with feelings, I am a person who has good days and bad days just like you and I do this because I want to. Ok?

If I am tough on you, know that I would be tough on ANY of my friends. Like if someone said “Leah, I really want to be a fireman, what do I do to be a fireman”? I would say “ well, Little Jimmy, first get your head out of your you know what and do some INVESTIGATING on your own, how the hell are you going to find the fire if you can’t even find out for yourself how to BE a fireman without asking me?” Do you see how mean I can be? Do you see poor Jimmy crying over there in the corner? Here’s the truth though, I don’t believe people who write me and say they want to “be” this or “do” that and ask me how to do it. It shows no real calls (with a “B”), it shows lack of initiative of their part. So, how bad does someone really want something if they hadn’t even done the basics for themselves? You feel me? :)

Here is what I like to see; people really going after things they want in life. I like being someone’s cheerleader, picking them up when they need it, making them laugh, and kicking them in the “Pass” (without the “P”), when they need it. I admire people who just get it and know that they have to DO something if they want a better whatever. I like people who are themselves and don’t try to impress me with nasty remarks or judgements about me or anyone else. This is supposed to be fun and helpful.

Please, before posting on my Blog go to FAQ’s on the website first and then to the LRG where there is plenty more…. Please? :)

So, in closing, I know I might lose a few peeps on this blog and that is ok. Not everyone has to like me. My real friends do :)

Love,

Leah

California…
icon1 Leah | icon2 General | icon4 07 29th, 2008| icon3Comments Off

Ok, so now I remember why I don’t love California all the time. Today, we had a 5.8 earthquake! I hate earthquakes, well- I don’t think anyone really loves an earthquake so that is not the brightest things I have said. But I REALLY don’t like earthquakes. Anyway, my little sister was getting her hair test done for her wedding and I felt a little rumble and said to them, “Get outside” and my hairdresser goes “Get under the table” and I said “So, we can die under the friggin table, get outside”! I just thought it was so funny that what could have been our last moments on this earth, we were fighting… anyway, the important thing is, and we are all ok. Ms. Sofia is ok, we are all ok. Nothing fell off the shelves; we were all just reminded where we live and that is the pay back for no snow and beautiful mountains.

Leah

July 22, 2008 and Sea World!
icon1 Leah | icon2 General | icon4 07 26th, 2008| icon3Comments Off

Hello all,

Just got back from Sea World with the family… had a great time. Yes, I have been busy right?! Legoland, Sea World…. Jeez…. I am tired… :) Anyway, I will now get back to my blog….

Kisses,

Leah

Steph~ Because I didn’t venture in to the city much as a child, (being from Brooklyn) I do not have places that I would go often in the city. The great thing about NYC, is there aren’t a whole lot of places that are “bad’. For name value you should definitely see Tavern On The Green. Have a great time!

James~ I loved Howard. Because there isn’t a whole lot that can “get me”, he really didn’t bother me. I found him quite charming.

Karrie~ Mother Trucker is very good! I like it. :)

Frank~ Thank you so much for writing. I know what you mean about helping, it really does fill a hole in your soul like no other. I am sure St. Judes in most appreciative. Best of you luck to you and your family and congrats Grandpa! That is going to be the best role ever!

Jonathan~ My sister is making the banner and then it will my job to get it signed. That will be a great project, I will try and get it done asap. I have plans for anysoldier.org, as soon as I have more news, I will let you know. All of my love to you.

Renee~ Yes, can you do that and send it? That would be great!!!! Thanks beauty.

Angel~ Honestly, I totally get it! Sofia does not like to walk either. Thank goodness Angelo loves to carry her. But, when she is with me, I just play games with her like “Don’t walk on the cracks” or “ let’s skip from here to there”…. Try and make little games out of her walking short distances.

Kelly~ You have to try and stop trying to look at the things in your life that need help, because the more you push them away and forget about it the more it becomes stronger. Just try and talk to people in your life and the secrets become less powerful. To answer your other question, I have a house coat my grandma gave me that I refuse to part with.

Nathan~ I would not say I was “against” the war. I choose to deal in terms of what can be done about it. Right now, all we can do is pray for the return of our troops and support them.

Caresse~ I loved Lucille Ball because she was a dreamer and a go getter. Lucy & Ricky came up with the way sitcoms were shot. As an actress, she was hysterical. I loved them both.

Lina~ No, I was not at the wrestling event, I just shot a little thing for Jenny for it. Have a great time at Kev’s show!

Janelle~ Thanks sweetie… I will check out your blog.

Nicole~ Thank you so much for writing. I can’t even imagine what you are going through. My thoughts are with you and your family. Please send Eric my love and let him know how truly appreciative we all are. You made me tear up by the way! :(

Sally~ what accent? Does Angelo have an accent? What attracted to me to Angelo was his smile…

Joshua~ get a book of agents, get pictures & resumes made and start sending them your pictures with a phone number. If they meet you, they will want you to prepare a monologue and come and read for them.  That is the first step.

Rodney~ U loved Fired Up! I had a great time on that show and I am still friends with Mark who played my brother. Hope all went well with the warden! :)

Dom~ I have interest in all things. I basically find things through the heart. It just comes my way and I always look at that as a sign. I don’t seek organizations out. If it is something I can do, I do it. I also do what I can do time wise.

Sabeen~ Thanks for writing and thank you so much for watching.

Penny~ Thank you sooooo much for your help, that is just so beyond gracious of you. Really, thank you. No, I don’t have a myspace page. Thank you again.

Yung~ Thank you very much. Although the show wouldn’t have worked without the whole cast and there would be no Carrie without Doug, I still appreciate the compliment.

Russ~ The Charity event was for Jenny Mcarthy. It was a great event and she is a very strong and beautiful mother to her son. I admire her for what she has done and will do.

Steph~ Hey sweets, I am going to do the banner and I have his list because I am going to get it all. Not because of any other reason but because it’s too hard to get everyone to buy this and that. So, I would just say, go to anysoldier.org and pick anything or anyone….thanks Steph.

Love,

Leah

My latest adventure…and a little help
icon1 Leah | icon2 General | icon4 07 19th, 2008| icon3Comments Off

Hey guys,

I went to see Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey circus yesterday and I have to say… check out their site and if it comes to your town, you have to go! I never went as a child because I was scared of clowns, but I have to say, I had the best time! What a great show! Sofia loved it, I loved it, my god child loved it, my mom loved it and Angelo loved it! I mean, really go if you can…..

On another note, I was wondering if anyone is working at a camp or a school over the summer. Jonathan White has asked for a huge banner with notes on it from us to put on the walls in the Soldiers “Chill Room”. I thought it would be great if someone who has access to this type of thing could decorate a huge banner with sayings like “Thank you”, “God bless” “ Come Home safe”… Jonathan said the soldiers love this and it really lifts their spirits. If someone could do this easily, it would mean so much….please post for us….

Also, I would like it if everyone could go to anysoldier.org and help with something.  Just pick one thing and send it. It really is sad to see that someone who is serving our country would need for ANYTHING. If we all did one thing we could make a difference. I would like there to be no one asking for anything. Wouldn’t that be awesome?

I thank you in advance.

All of my love,

Leah

More frequently asked questions
icon1 Leah | icon2 frequently asked questions | icon4 07 18th, 2008| icon3Comments Off

There is an entire section on my website, leahremini.com and the LRG dedicated to frequently asked questions, I encourage you to read those! Here are some more additions, which I will periodically update for you all!

WHAT AM I DOING NEXT?

I have no real plans for my next project. I realize that people feel I should be working and I am so appreciative of the fact that I still have people that want me back on TV. There is no real hurry. I am blessed in that I don’t HAVE to work right now and can spend more time at home as well as do charity work. Love that! :) So right now, I have no plans.

DO YOU STAY IN TOUCH WITH KEVIN?

Of course I stay in touch with Kevin. I love Kevin and always will. He still makes me laugh!

DO YOU STAY IN TOUCH WITH THE REST OF THE CAST?

I always feel the question should be, “Does anyone from the cast keep in touch with you and Kevin”? And the answer is, not really, not because they of ill feelings, but we are all on different coasts, not to mention they all have families and they have full lives themselves.

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN TO (Insert your country, city or state here)?

The answer is: probably not. It would be easier for me to just tell you where I have been….Rome, England, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic. Do I have any plans to go anywhere? Probably not. I hate to fly and I’m not the kind of girl who says “I would love to climb that mountain” I am the girl who will drive AROUND the mountain and wait for you at the hotel!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE EPISODE?

For sentimental reasons, I would have to say the first and last show. But, there was something about every episode that made me laugh. I do remember early on, there was a show called “Cello, Goodbye” where Doug and Carrie were fighting at a concert in silence. At the time, I thought it was so stupid… but cried from laughter when I saw it. My mom went to every show and she was there that night and she was crying from laughter while it was being filmed and I remember asking her “Really mom is it that funny?” Anyway, there is probably a moment I can say something about within every show we taped.
