I have been asked what is going on with the pilot I just shot. We are waiting to hear if it will be picked up for Midseason. This means that the networks wait for one of their new shows to fail and then replace it with a back up….

So, I am doing a show. It has not been put on the schedule yet so I have not wanted to talk about it. It is a pilot. For those who do not know what a pilot is; it is basically a one time show that the network will look at after we film and see if it is a good fit for their network. Then and only then will it be on the air. So, cross your fingers! 
It is nice to be back to work. I hope that you will all get to see it…

Nicole ~ When you feel like you don’t fit in next time, don’t quit. Just know that those women you are comparing yourself to also have insecurities. No one is perfect Nicole, but giving up is letting them win. I stay motivated because I am on TV. If I wasn’t, it would be much harder. For you, you have to look at how you would feel if you lost that weight. That should motivate you. It is not so much the weight I felt that really screwed with my self-esteem, but it was more that I felt out of control and that is what bothered me more. Maybe if you stuck with something, you would prove to yourself that you could do it and that just might restore your self esteem….

I take a moment and say “I am alive, I am healthy, there are beautiful people and things in the world”. I know that sounds geeky, but it helps. It is sometimes just the simple things that mean so much. Like the H-E double anything still makes me smile. And that is what you have brought to me, smiles. Like for the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that I have had a cookie (maybe 10) or some kind “cheat” food every day. And yesterday, I was like “ok, enough Leah”. Today is day 2 of me being a “good girl” and I honestly feel better about myself. Just because I feel I am showing some restraint. Hang in there honey.

JR ~ It takes a whole week to do a multi camera show like The King Of Queens. This consists of rehearsals, run-thrus with writers, network and studio. Then one day of filming. Usually a few hours. If you are good!

But, I did lose the weight; I lost 40 pounds pretty quickly. I am now on the Zone and maintaining. I know it is hard, but once you decide that you want to lose the weight and do not want to feel like this anymore, it will change.

CrazyInLeah ~ we had a great Valentine’s day ~thank you. We actually just spent time together and caught up on some movies and had dinner. It was wonderful.
Tracey ~ yes, it was scary and I really wouldn’t take a 5 year old to see it. Sofia kept taking her glasses off because it was too much for her. At one point I asked her if she was ready to go and she said no. But, it was a good movie, just not for the little ones.
